Verso’s Home Run – 23rd May

As there are no guests this week, we’ll be catching up with two additional participants in the Felixstowe Radio Music Quiz. In addition, the new THREE FROM ONE segment will be introduced. Through this segment, I will be asking Facebook and Twitter followers to vote for their favorite album out of a few options prior to the show and will play three songs from the album with the most votes. This week the winner was THE ENEMY with WE’LL LIVE AND DIE IN THESE TOWNS. I might even play a list of my TOP TEN most overrated bands/artists.

Now That’s What I Call a No.1 – 28th May

Experience the Stock, Aitken and Waterman extravaganza! Indulge in two hours of non-stop hits from the dynamic UK songwriting and production team, often referred to as the country’s answer to Motown. This renowned trio dominated the music industry in the 1980s and early 1990s, penning and producing chart-topping tracks for iconic artists such as Kylie Minogue, Rick Astley, Bananarama, and Dead or Alive. Their trademark upbeat, danceable pop sound and infectious hooks made their music an instant hit with fans. Although criticised for their use of formulaic songwriting, S/A/W’s music remains immensely popular and continues to captivate listeners of all ages.
